1. General information
1. To know the organizational structures of sport in the public and private sector, differentiating the competences and relations between them.
2. To know the legal system that regulates the management of sport and the differences between the regulations and their scope of approval
3. To plan from the strategic-operational angle of sports organizations (public and private) and sports facilities, mastering the strategic and management tools.
4. To understand the most important accounting instruments in management.
5. To know the tools of management, leadership and teamwork.
6. To manage sports activities, foreseeing the necessary resources to achieve the objectives, establishing evaluation systems and continuous improvement.

2. Learning results
The student, in order to pass this subject, must demonstrate the following results:
Is able to identify the theoretical foundations and methodology used in the field of management of sports organizations and institutions. Can categorize and describe the main rules that constitute the body of sports legislation, analysing its strengths, weaknesses and most significant shortcomings.
Is capable of proposing new ideas or approaches in sport management and legislation, in line with their sport specialty. This implies that the documents they draft must clearly identify their purpose as well as the novelty they represent. In addition, the structure of the document should be articulated in such a way that there is a logical concatenation of arguments.
Is able to communicate, orally and in writing, their knowledge and ideas. To do so, the student must present in class the assigned work with sufficient order and fluency, highlighting its objective and contribution, the methodology used, and the main results obtained, as well as its main shortcomings and limitations.
The learning result acquired by passing this subject have the importance of improving the general competences of the degree, developing different instrumental, personal and interpersonal competences as well as systemic.

The program offered to the student to help them achieve the expected results comprises the following activities...
Theoretical Sessions (3 ECTS = 30 hours)
Practical sessions for small groups (3 ECTS = 30 hours), in which the following activities will be carried out

*Troubleshooting
the possibility of carrying out:

5. Assessment system
The results of the subject will be graded by means of a Final Evaluation, which will require:
The delivery of a printed monographic work, individually or in groups, consisting of the choice and description of the management aspects of a sports organization, as well as the analysis of the legal framework composed by the different regulations that affect it. It will account for 20% of the final grade.
In order to assess its quality, the following will be assessed: a correct exposition of the objectives and motivation of the work, its theoretical framework, the methodology used, its main results and conclusions, as well as its limitations as a representation of real cases.
The completion of a written test that will include 16 objective questions of multiple-choice items with 4 possible answers where one of them is always correct but where two, three or all four may also be correct.
It will account for 80% of the final grade.
For its evaluation, the basic rules that must be observed in the preparation of this type of tests will be taken into account regarding the statements, division of items by thematic blocks, information on revisions, etc.
Reference documents for the grade:
1. For the grading of the monographic work it will be required the delivery in paper of the final report and a Power Point presentation including, if necessary, audiovisual material.
2. For the written test, there will be a booklet of multiple-choice questions.
NOTICE
Fraud or total or partial plagiarism in any of the evaluation tests will result in the failure of the subject with the minimum grade, in addition to the disciplinary sanctions that the guarantee committee adopts for these cases.
